I am completely in the same boat as you. I have always been in the middle. Never skin, but never "big?" I'm not at my optimal weight but, I say that for health reason not for body issues. I don't know exactly where I fall but, I try not to think on it too much..mainly because it simply doesn't matter...

I just asked a similar question in the forum. Your experience sounds like just a matter of relativity. You're seen as thinner than those other women, so you're considered "thin" by them, even though your group is "fat" compared to another group of women who's thinner than you.

Myself ... I don't remember ever actually being teased or put down because of my weight. But I was well aware of how fat I was compared to the other girls. I kept myself hidden from the kid's attention, and stayed very low throughout public school.

These days ... I'm still a fat recluse, but I've found a wonderful man through an online dating site. Maybe he's a chubby chaser, maybe he thinks of me as model thin in comparison because he's a real bear of a man. Either case, he makes love to me like I'm a supermodel.

I agree with Hedgehippie I'm so tired of people labeling other people I can scream . I have a friend in my circle and it takes half the time we talk to boost her moral. she is actually a very nice looking woman but has suffered so much verbal abuse through the years she feels like her weight has made her sub par . SOME women need to get a grip and quit putting down other women to make themselves feel better . its not a pretty sight . we all are worthy of respect .
