Comfortable With Myself

I'm 27 and have been bisexual for as long as I can remember.  I was with women before I was with men.  I guess I should say girls before boys, because I was that young when I figured it all out.

My mother took the whole things really badly, so I still act like everything is fine around her and her family.  I moved to a city where I am the only person from my family, and I can be me without hiding or sneaking around.  Life is good.

You should feel ok to be yourself, as long as you're not hurting anyone... Too bad your mom can't accept that.

Just be yourself - remember that he family doesn't need to know everything. I had a very hard time with my parents, and learnt from that. Sometimes, not rocking the boat is the wisest thing.

Yes, attraction just happens, as does love. Really no choice either there. Val :-)

Good for you! Life is too short to be mired down in "rules". As we used to say in the 60's, "If it feels good, do it!"<br />
Enjoy it, and feel no shame. Whatever gender you encounter, if they can give you pleasure, good for them, and better yet good for you!<br />
Have fun!

honestly there is no other choice... I'm either attracted or I'm not... I'm different only because I'm not afraid to go after something if I like it... whether its a man or woman... attraction is truly not a choice.... it just happens
