New Buddhist

I say I am a Buddhist because I feel it in my heart, the philosophies of Buddhism make sense to me. It is very difficult when starting out if you don't have someone to guide you. I personally read all that I can, and listen to the teachings of Ajahn Brahm but still so many questions arise that I can not answer, such as Which practice should I follow? Theravada Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Pure Land Buddhism, Yogacara Buddhism and Vajrayana Buddhism? Right now I am clinging to the Lotus Sutra more than anything and daily try and chant and meditate but where do I go from here?
When should I take refuge?, Am I following the 8 fold path?, What do I do if I keep falling back into old habits?, I'm not sure of any of these thoughts but I do know that my thirst for knowledge and journey for enlightenment will continue regardless.

I feel like an alcoholic or drug addict that fights the addiction everyday , but I have faith in me, the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, I know change must come.
