Genetic Testing? You Think?

A personal story in the experience: I Am a Cancer Survivor
I saw my oncologist yesterday for my annual check-up and my CA125 was .3.  Dr says that is almost to small to measure YEAH!I am a 2X ovarian cancer survivor, first in 1984, no chemo, just surgery. The cancer returned in 1996, this time with chemo and the chemo cocktail made me so sick. The practise was new, so I had to sit in dental chairs, birthing tables and short little exam tables. It was quite fun to race for the most comfortable spot. I seldom got the best table

Doctor has scheduled me for genetic testing,my sister had breast cancer, my father had liver cancer, my mom died from brain cancer in 1963,my  youngest sister has just been diagnosed with adenoma carcinoma of the common bile duct . My 35yr old daughter died 7yrs ago from Cervical cancer that spread to her lympnodes, she had chemo, radiation, implanted radiation rods and more chemo, the Health Care Providers at the Augusta GA Doctor's Hospital was superb..

I have been asked to attend group sessions to show others that survival is very possible but I cannot get over the survivor guilt.
