Caregiver Bathing Aid Tips For Osteoporosis Safe Bathing

Many elderly people want to live independently as much as possible, without the worry of the barriers in living that simple tasks can present.  Osteoporosis is the most common type of bone disease. An estimated 10 million Americans have osteoporosis.  Being a caregiver for the elderly many of my residents have who suffer from Osteoporosis have trouble getting in and out of the bathtub.   It much emotional straining on our residents when a caregiver has to help them bath or be in the bathroom with them.  We found a great solutions.  The walk in bath tub!
we purchased 3 walk in tubs from The walk in bathtub is acrylic and has over 10 Hydrotherapy jets which works great for our residences legs.  To the point where a number of our residents take 30 min daily hydrotherapy sessions in the walk in tub.  Im not sure i've defiantly seen mental improvements in our patience now that the bathroom has become more independent.
