If the Unknown didn't intend for us to live in this world as active participants we wouldn't have been created as influencing flesh.  If the Unknown didn't intend for us to fully engage ourselves with relationships to our fellow humans the Unknown would not have made the continuation of our species dependent upon it.  Thus and in short, it is my perception the Unknown's Intention is not for us to live in asexual bubbles awaiting death or ascention.
