didn't really grown up in a strict Christian family. My parents both say they are Christian but never really went to Church until I was 10. My mom, brother and I went for a couple years until my brother got so bored with it that he became atheist and I just stopped feeling connected. It wasn't until I made a short-lived connection with a Christian friend when I was 18 that I became interested in Christianity again. Since then I have been on and off... I really don't feel deserving of God's love because I haven't been a good person, and I knowingly sin. My goal is to fully accept Him into my life, trust Him completely, and through this I hope to accept and love myself, become a better person, and become a better Christian. I occasionally attend a Christian group on my college campus, and I hope to become more involved this coming school year. I'm being hopeful! :)

  | Posted Jun 20th, 2008 at 3:06AM None of us are deserving, and all of us sin. But that's the point, right? That's why we need God in the first place... don't be discouraged. God loves you, even knowing that you knowingly sin. :) That's the most awesomest part. As for the practical, college groups definitely help, because they're so involved. Fellowship with other Christians is a very good thing. Best of luck to you! Let me know if you ever have any prayer requests.   |
