Revelatory Edenism--a Christian Vegan Exhortation

I wrote previously on the forum post "Why people eat meat- religious beliefs??" This is intended to give a detailed description of why a Christian (or anyone for that matter) should abstain from meat eating. It is not intended for someone who desires a quick read, but for the true seeker it should provide adequate information and a basis to true Gnosis!

This is a huge topic for the whole world. I claim Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus Christ) as my redeemer. Here is the thing, I have studied all spiritual teachings "exoteric" external religions, as well as "esoteric" internal religions. What people do not seem to understand is that when the Bible "says" something, it is not always speaking literally. scripture says: "And he said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables" (Mark 4:11).

To further reiterate my point, scripture also says, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life" (John 6:63). One can see from these verses that 1) the outsiders do not understand, and 2) the words are spirit, they are not concrete and literal but figurative and spiritual. For example, the only animal Yeshua (Jesus) was reported to eat was fish. He did not eat lamb at the pass over. There are so many aspects to this, if I posted them all you would read all day. For one thing, the word here for fish is "Ichthys" meaning literally "Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior." So Jesus is the fish! That is why Christians use the fish symbol which they put on the bumpers of their cars!

When Yeshua feeds the multitude with the "Ichthys" and the bread, we would articulate that firstly, Yeshua (Jesus) is the "Bread of Life" (John 6:35). When Satan told Yeshua (Jesus) in the wilderness to turn the stone into bread, Yeshua replied: "It is written, "'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4) The Word of God is the Bread of Life! Again, Jesus is the Word of God: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). Jesus is not talking about solid food, but spiritual food. He fed the multitude with himself, "Ichthys," or "Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior" and "Logos" the "The Word of God." Jesus, through himself, fed the multitude spiritual food from God. This is why Revelation declares: "To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it" (Revelation 2:17). Hidden manna is secret, hidden spiritual food!

Yeshua himself declares this statement after the feeding of the multitude in Matthew, Mark and John! (Matthew 16:5-12) gives the explanation beginning with an exhortation from Yeshua beginning in (Matthew 16:6) "Jesus said to them, "watch, beware the leaven of the Pahrisees and Sadducees." 7 And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, "We brought no bread." 8 But Jesus, aware of this said, "O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? 9 Do you not yet perceive?" Yeshua goes on to explain in verse 11 "'How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees." 12 They understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees."' Simple observance of these overlooked verses should provide adequate evidence for the seeker! This is similarly shown in (Mark 8:14-21).

The most profound disclosure of this however, is found in the Gospel of John. The section spans over (John 6:22-59). Being too long to write in this space, the statements of Messiah in this are too mightily pronounced to be overlooked. Those with "ears to hear" are urged to listen here. Everyone is urged to read this for themselves. I cannot do this full justice, but beginning in verse 26 Yeshua states "Truly truly, I say to you, your are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loves. 27 Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal." Profoundly beginning in verse 31 "Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness; as it is written, 'He gave them manna from heaven to eat.' 32 Jesus then said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." 34 They said to him, "Sir, give us this bread always. 35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe." This entire section is called "I am the bread of Life." While I am sure we are all certain that Yeshua was not saying he was a loaf of bread, somehow the entire church has seemed to miss the point. As it if written, "For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be know and come to light." (Luke 8:17).

Remember how God fed the Israelites with manna in the wilderness? Manna is bread like food. Again spiritual food. Remember Yeshua said His words were "Spirit and Life?" (John 6:63). There is an external and internal interpretation. Some follow the dead letter and take it literally, and some do as Yeshua commands, take it spiritually. Paul said this: "For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life" (2 Corinthians 3:6). Everything is symbology! The true interpretation is only given to those with "eyes to see" and "ears to hear!"

I could go on all day, but I will end with the fact that even the Old Testament sacrifices were symbolic as well. Each animal represented a lower sinful nature in man which must be offered upon the alter. Study this: The Offered Beast Each animal stood for a different vice within the spirit of man. The blood is symbolic for the passion and fervor for life and material gain. When God clothed Adam and Eve with the animal skins in the Garden of Eden, what that means is that they were clothed with a "fleshly, fallen, and carnal nature." It was a symbol of a fall from grace, from spirit to flesh.

I will add here that regardless of the symbolical interpretation and it's accuracy, the Bible says, in an almost incongruous satire, "But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat." (Deuteronomy 12:23). Let me state that it is absolutely impossible to take the blood completely out of meat, you can even soak it all night! If one cooks meat, the blood is only cooked into it, not out of it. Basically, what this passage would be sensibly translated to should be "Being sure that you do not eat the blood, since life is in the blood, abstain from eating meat because it contains the life." There is no way around this, the Bible condemns the eating of blood. If one has eaten meat today, they have broken this command.

One can always look to the state of creation before the fall, nothing died, no violence was anywhere, that is how creation is supposed to be. If it was that way, and it will be again (CHRISTIANS!) why not strive for it now. If Yeshua (Jesus) truly is the second Adam and the Redeemer of creation (which I believe he is), then surely he did not kill anything while he was on earth. All meat eating is sin, because scripture says: "When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned" (Romans 5:12). Sin brings death. In order to eat meat something must die. So common sense says that producing meat is the result of sin, because something died. Very simple!

If we want to be truly redeemed, we must not harm God's creation. I could write much more, but in this lesson, we should realize that there is always something more to learn. To never stop seeking is the secret of creation. There is always something else, if one just peers a little deeper. The Bible says "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). The Bible NEVER says, "You will read and you will find" (Nowhere 1:1). We must seek and find. God bless you all. Love the creation and be blessed :)
