I Am a Closet Lesbian

I just told my friend I'm a lesbian. She comes from a Christian family and took it well. She even told me she thinks she's bi. After it went so well I'm thinking about telling my family and other friends. I'm still scared. All I can think of are all the kids who get kicked out for being part of the lgbt community. I don't know what to do, so I came to you.

    Don't be afraid. You may be whoever you are.
    But be careful. If you're not sure about your family reaction or you may be kicked out not literally, go check your background (find a place to stay, for example). It's a matter of trust and patience.
