Forty Somethings?

Any fortysomethings out there scared to come out and having no idea where to meet people. I am from a small town, recently unengaged so everyone assumes I'm straight. Its been hell forever. And, now I want to be happy. Gee, just wring that was difficult. Glad I found this site.

Oh I very much hope you discover your love...at an unexpected moment, when you're simply being you and doing something you genuinely enjoy.

It IS possible and it CAN happen.

The kind of crowd you're in doesn't matter one bit. What matters is having a quiet, open welcoming heart that will catch on to the vibes of someone special.

Welcome! I am a 50 something! :) If I didnt have this site Im not sure how I could cope. I am in a very slow process of "coming out". Also am married to a man and recently told him. Most everyone I talk to is sooo supportive and wonderful.

Here on EP you'll be okay, at least with coming out. Lots of supportive people around. And who knows, you might find your way to be happy before long too...one small step at a time :-)
