I'm a multiple threat when it comes to problem solving: Concentration plus creativity plus genius plus magickal perception plus mathematical intuition plus symbolic thinking (from learning Tarot).

This is an area where being stubborn pays off -- in knot untying and other puzzle solving tasks the time-on-task difference between the people who gave up after many minutes and the people who succeeded averaged less than one minute! When people who gave up were encouraged to continue working on the problem sixty seconds longer many of them succeeded. I've got that kind of pertinacity.

And I know a mental agility trick: Run through a deck of Krypto cards a couple of times. That focuses your brain like a LASER.

Great story! I think folks who bring their creative talents into all the different aspects of their lives really benefit from it. Some times we need to trade in the "box" for a big table to spread things out on and really look at all the possibilities....Boxes, by nature can be really limiting. Sounds like you do an AWESOME job with just that!! :)
