Food For Thought

I thrive off thoughtful, deep, and sometimes hypothetical conversations. The realm of 'what ifs", "why", and "what would happen" contribute to making life worth living.

How does one get remembered after death? Become a writer?

What is Deja vu and what triggers it? Maybe at the end of life there is a trivia question and if you get it wrong you have to repeat the life (wouldn't that be the kicker)?

If given the option, would religious people take a pill that makes them immortal so they can continue spreading the word of a god.... or see that it is not in god's plan? What would happen to society if people become immortal? Who would choose to become immortal?

If there was an incentive, especially money, for having more children, would that encourage more poor people to have children? If poorer people are less intelligent, then what would that do to society?

Anyways, just tossing some of the thoughts out there that I have been thinking about lately. I could go on and on with each other them. A little food for thought.

hey check out my thread i would love to hear your thoughts, it would be nice to get remembered after death. de ja vu is a phenomenon, i wonder if it breaks down chemically in the brain or has to do with something more... Immortality is tempting, and that's what my first inclination would be, but those who think about it more might see less appealing sides. great post tho like at your others soon :)

LMAO, this can be a heated topic. I've thought about this way too often myself. They are giving money to people who have children, free or low cost health care, shelter, food. The system is really messed up, instead of helping the people who will help themselves they just need help getting ahead it helps those who abuse it more. I think being greedy is what makes people less intelligent, there are plenty of half wit idiots with millions of dollars at their disposal and what do they do, buy anything and everything that means absolutely nothing and is mostly useless for the future and not really wanted there just bored. I don't find that intelligent at all, now the kids that use all recycled soda bottles and trash and yes worm poop, lol, there making millions off worm poo and cleaning the environment, now that is smart. At least if they buy stupid things and waste money they at least offset some of it by being inventive and using sustainable things. That's some poo for thought, lol
