There must be more to life than this.

The everyday: commuting to work and buying food. Sitting at night watching other people's lives.

There must be more to life than this.

An adventure. A new horizon, new places and new people. Bright sunlight shining on your face, warm fragrant air blowing off the fields.

There must be more to life than this.

Angry people, rushing in the city. not looking at each other, never reaching out to new people. Secure in their little worlds. Hurrying, hurrying.

There must be more to life than this.

The washing water, splashing in waves onto the beach. Breaking over stones, moving seaweed softly. Footprints in the sand, lovers holding hands alone in the world.

There must be more to life than this.

The sterile car park, packed with silver grey cars, different badges but all the same shape: grim-set faces, never laughing moving around the straight lines.

There must be more to life than this.

In a corn field, high summer. the softness of her as she moves and sighs: the sunlight in her hair, on her skin. the wind pressing gently against flesh, stirring the fine hairs on her arm as she moves, she moves and moves again and bites her lip.

There must be more to life than this.

Huddled people scurrying in the rain, a million lives never intersecting.

There must be more to life than this.

Far out over the sea, a gull cries an unheard warning of a coming storm.

Good one.
Yes, there is more to life than this. That 'more' is different for each one of us. More of something often comes at a cost of less of something, what can we trade for what. Often, people want more of the more, without parting with anything. Kinda, have the cake and eat it too.

When is the last time you have learned/did something new? Start with that, it is a good start.

Beautiful. I believe the human nature is never satisfied.. Grass is always greener..

Anytime

If you find it, let me know.
