I have an interesting idea for all of us dreamers and deep thinkers. It is often difficult for us to find people to have deep and meaningful conversations with. We enjoy deeper connections with people, but they are often hard to come by.

I started a new blog called "outsider olympics". I have always felt like an outsider, and I don't see it as a bad thing, although I do often wish I could feel a greater sense of belonging. I think we could increase that sense of belonging by collectively connecting to ideas, which can get a lot more interesting from an outsider's point of view. This is more or less the concept behind the blog.

I want to inspire people, to show them how interesting the world can be if you look beyond what we've been conditioned to think about the nature of reality. Sounds pretty abstract, but I think it could be interesting to bring people together this way.

I think it would be cool to bring the creative people, the misfits and rebels, and the deep thinkers of the world together to celebrate what makes us special and to create something together. Join my community by subscribing to the blog, giving me feedback, and commenting with your own ideas and opinions about the posts. I would love to hear from you. The blog can be found by googling ' 'outsider olympics'.

sounds like a good idea, maybe it'll put the right people together, help each other with thoughts and ideas

exactly! that's what I'm hoping for

Wouldn't that have largely similar aims to TED?

Not really, but I can see the connection. TED produces inspiring and educational talks. My blog has no connection to talks (by usually successful people). The blog is going to be more experimental and daring in the sense that I want to bring people together who don't necessarily fit into the 'mold'. Also, it's a blog. So that in itself differentiates itself from TED.

Fair enough. I'll check out your blog.

Thank you! I hope you enjoy it. I will be writing a couple really interesting posts today. Comment on the blog to let me know what you think. I'd love to start some good conversations on there to build a community.

Sounds interesting

Can't find it, sorry!
