I've always been a big fan of Hall & Oates over the years, so naturally when a co-worker told me about Daryl's House I had to go check it out for myself. My first glimpse was the episode with Joe Walsh, and I was relishing all that I heard. I didn't even make it halfway through the episode, but it wasn't because I didn't like it. I loved it. I just had to make a break to come over here to create a group just for it.

Over the last fifteen or so years I have been saddened with what's taken place in the world of music, so it was very refreshing to me to see guys who had made their mark getting together to reminisce on some classic tunes that sound just as good now as they did back in the day, and I'm talking about stuff from thirty years ago.

I will most definitely go back to see the rest of the Walsh episode, this time in its entirety, but I won't stop there. I'll be checking all of the other episodes out as well. I just think it's great to see musicians of that caliber getting together in a rustic setting making the music come alive again, bringing back the memories, redeveloping an appreciation for what real music sounds like. So in closing, I take my hat off to Daryl Hall for doing something like creating a show that allows guys like me to enjoy the tunes and share in their good times. May they never die.
