I Am a Fashion Victim
Here is why i am a fashion victim. I have no clue what looks good on me in my current shape and weight. I used to be a big guy, well a big fat guy but I still had a good sense of style. I was one of those fat guys that actually carried his weight well, throw on a suit and tie and I felt like a million dollars. When your 6ft and over 300 lbs, the best look for a man (if he keeps himself well groomed) is what I like calling "The Tony Soprano".
This consits of a lot of slacks, bowling shirts (dark colors), suits that fit well, and shoes with a nice shine on them. I used to work for a Big&Tall so it was easy to find things that suited me and looked good, why so many of my customers lived in shorts, tank tops and flip flops i will never know. But I used to say, "Just cause your carrying an extra metric ton, that does not mean you cant have style.
Now I am 200 lbs. and I have no idea what looks good on me. I am actually slender now and toned, but I do not have the first clue what to do as far as clothing.
