I Am a Fisherman

I am a fisherman. My father before me was a fisherman. My grandfather before him was a fisherman. And any sons of mine will be fishermen. It is the way things are done here.

Even my godfather, Tsekub, is a fisherman. He fishes with me every day. Well, I have to make him do it, and all he ever spends his money on are Caña and hoes.

Usually we fish for the smaller, inner-sea fish, because that's where the expensive fish always is: barracuda, peto, tuna.

And that's all I have to say about that.
