Gay Christian Pastor In St. Louis Are You Looking For a Church?

I'm not sure Pastor Ryan and Lenny have been on EP in awhile, but for those finding this post, plese consider 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 6:18, 2 Corinthians 12:21, Galations 5:19 and Ephesians 5:3. So much is true and wonderful about the saving grace of Jesus, but there are also are many warnings about continuation in sin in a lifestyle, without repentance, and without mind to it. Yes, we all sin, none are without sin except the Lord, but we cannot say that to live in it, and to promote or embrace it does not have affects of its own. There is freedom in Jesus, seek a change, have a change in heart. In love.

Repent! And stop leading these lost souls to hell! You will be held accountable for the blood that will be on your hands. You know that that is not truth! In your heart. Listen to me for a sec, Man of God if that is what you are, I won't go into scriptures because you know them. You want what you want.But God is not pleased if we continue in sin, any of us including me! We will not make it to heaven in sinful conditions if we don't repent. You must make a choice, it is either God and righteousness, or flesh and lust- being eternally seperated from God. Have you not known or heard An Of God that any Christian who go to hell will have the harshest punishment why? because they know better, and you know better. Repent from your sin and get it right before Jesus comes!

I think we should do some self-reflections here.



For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents, senseless, covenant-breakers, heartless, ruthless. Although they fully know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:26-32 NET)

Praise be to God that Jesus does have compassion on sinners like us!;) (Jesus had compassion on prostitutes, murderers...) Having a Gay marriage still angers him. If you are saved by God, wouldn't you want to please him in all areas of your life?



Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NET)

Indeed, before we are saved, we were infinitely evil, but now with Christ, he gave us power over sin (sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals). He clearly wants us to get rid of it, don't you think?

Pastor Lenny ... Great stuff ... There a multitude of faithful gays out there, actively being ostracized by the broader religious community. Being bashed over the head with Leviticus whenever they pop their heads up. Your providing a sanctuary for such to practice their belief unmolested and away from persecution. Maybe in a more enlightened time you would be canonized ;-)



To those COP's (Christian obsessive compulsives) who have that uncontrollable urge to quote cherry-picked scripture at those they can't accept, with the purpose of informing them that they are going to hell (Hells the really bad place in Christianity right?) WHAT a despicable act !

Don't go there about something that simple as the cotton you wear. I think that people nowadays are justify what they do to cater to their own beliefs. We as a society have rationalized everything so well that we can no longer be convicted of doing what we ALL know as right! Just like we can identify between being happy and sad, also there is a conscience feeling when doing right or wrong. That is the holy spririt making it's way into our hearts, but we are too STUBBORN to listen. So: Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (NIV)

can i move there and be part of your church even though i am a transvestite?i will need a place to stay when i first get there but will do whatever i am told to pay for being given a place to live

I needed to see this and hear that there are people out there JUST LIKE ME! I am 36 years old, recently outed and have to start this new life as an OUT,GAY BLACK MAN. Even though race is not a paramount issue here, it does affect how others perceive me. Im moving back to St Louis soon, and Id love to actually have a church family where I can be safe to be myself, for a change. Thank you Pastors Lenny and Ryan!

BTW - just one last question...if all it takes to be saved is a belief in Christ - why would someone need to come to your church, or ANY church, for that matter, and even MORE importantly - why would they want to ever give their money to a church?

1. Jesus said that not ONE jot or iota of the law was changed by his coming, and that ALL the laws were still in effect and that damned are they who teach otherwise.



2. Why do Christians conveniently forget that eating shrimp is an abomination but remember that homosexuality is?



3. Why does the Bible say it's OK to stone your recalcitrant children at the city gates or that you could sell your daughter into slavery. Is it STILL OK to do those things even though there are man-made laws against them?



4. If Paul really did have a conversion and heard Jesus' Word - why doesn't he EVER mention just ONE word that Jesus spoke and mostly only mention him as a Sky-God and only rarely that he was a man that lived on Earth?



5. Why did all of the other Apostles think that Paul was a fanatic, and why did they all insist that to be "saved" you also had to obey all the Jewish Laws as Jesus commanded them to?



6. Can you worship and love a god that would send a bear to ravage (kill) little children just because they made fun of one of his priests? Really? You think that's an OK thing for a deity to do? And yes, I *DO* think I can sit in judgement of that manipulative, jealous (in his own words), egotistical, snide, snob of a hypocrite. The glory of it all is, though, that THERE IS NO GOD.



Live as the fictional Christ commanded people to live, and I'll have not ONE problem with you. But no Christian alive today does, except maybe some of the Jews for Jesus, and even they are a bit hypocritical and snobby.

This is my last post to you, First I dont have to question my salvation :) there is nothing in the word that says my belief in CHRIST which is all it take to be saved is based on anything other than my faith that he exist. John 3:16.. Praise the Lord.. Next make sure you understnad the context of the word before you start throwing it around Jesus don't like that.... Make sure you know beyond a shadow of a doubt what your saying is true. Do a study on it search the scriptures, find the true meaning of the words in hebrew and greek and then move forward.. But, dont try and tell me about something you have no clue about.. Of course in less your gay your self and you are hiding it.. I did that too.. But seriously, educate your self and spread the TRUTH of the Word of GOD and not the words that proceedeth out of the mouth of your preacher... So I dont need you to pray for my slavaiton cause I already have it.. Next are you going to go to Red Lobster and preach to all those eating there cause you know what the bible says about eating shell fish. And one sin is no greater than the other right.. Sorry I didn't get back on this sooner but isn't being Gay a sin? The Bible say's that Christ died while we were still yet sinners. He did his part aren't we supposed to do ours and to stop sinning and to start walking in his ways? I used to be heavily into sin it took me 9 years to completely repent from my heart from my dreams even though I wasn't actually doing the actual act God had shown me that I was still sinning so I took him seriously and really stopped and embraced what I needed all along his way and I'm very happy to be on the right track right now! Finally! I do believe you when you say that Jesus is in your life and that he is saving you but you cannot continue to live in sin because he is comming back, right now we are living in the times of his grace, I would want to be fully repentant and ready for when he comes back to judge us! I just hope that you reconsider what he is truely asking of you when he saved you. I know that it's hard and I feel for you, you have much invested I'm sure in your marraige but it doesn't fit God's word. I just really want people to be saved and to get the chance to see them in heaven! Including you dude ;D
