im not crazy about stereo types but hey why deny it! i own magic cards i play diablo and warcraft im in love with fable and so forth , i like things like pokemon videogames and im not great with science but i love to learn its just who i am and i wouldnt have it any other way :)

    My 7yo tells me all the time, "Dad, quit talking so science-y! You're doing it again, you're opening your mouth and letting all these complicated words come out. Talk simply, Dad! I'm only seven years old!!"



    I feel bad for her. I don't want her to feel stupid or inadequate. It's just that she's so smart for her age, sometimes I forget how young she is. She understands the difference between a homophone and a homonym; she likes to learn French and Spanish with me; she's a smart kid. But yeah, she's only seven. :) I need to ease up & let her be a kid.



    She even said to me once, "Dad, when I grow up, I'll have a ton of responsibilities; so, right now, I just want to be a kid and enjoy being a kid, and do 'kid' things. I can worry when I'm a grown-up."



    Just thinking about her makes me bite my lip & grin. She's such a joy, such a blessing.



    ...But yeah, Charlotte is a total geek, and proud of it! :)
