The doctors did talk about sewing my eyelid shut or putting brass weights in my eyelid. I was taking therapy and my therapist would shock the nerve next to my eye and after 12 sessions it started to take effect. My eyes are almost healed up although I still can't wear contacts. I was never blind I just could not see the big E on the chart clearly.(might as well been blind) I'm doing alot better. The worst is the leg pain. My lower back, hips, knees, and ankles hurt all the time. I also have not regained my stamina yet.

April 2011, I decided to go back to work. The week before I was to start my new job my right foot went numb and my toes became paralyzed. My wife tried to get me to go back to the doctor but I refused. About 3-4 days later my left foot became numb and paralyzed. My right hand and the right side of my face also became numb. Saturday night I decided to go ER. I was admitted to the hospital and was diagnoised with GBS again. It wasn't as bad this time because we caught it earlier but I had to have 2 treatment of IVIG. I was suppose to get 3 but it makes me deathly sick and I told the doctor another treatment would kill me. I lost 20 pounds in 4 days. I had severe vomitting and migraines. I am still unemployed but God has taken really good care of us. I don't get away from the house to often because of weakness and taken medicine so long my stomach is upset alot but I get to spend alot of time with my family. Today my leg and foot are numb and my toes feel like they could fall off so I didn't go to church but my stamina has gotten way better. God is a healer and healing sometimes just takes time.
