For Me It's Methadone!

But don't get me wrong, I love Heroin Too!!! I've been on Methadone for 18years now, up and down, 130ml to 60ml daily. Although I got into Smack, it was the Meth that was more available to me! Living in a remote town meant Smack only came when a few lads grouped together and hit the city. That was few and far between. However Methadone and Tablets were in abundance!! I started stealing a boyfriends after he'd given me a taste for it! But I cannot blame them, I looked for it, I would do anything to get high!!Pills too, especially the Downers, Valium etc. Now I'm off the Benzo's and soon I'll be off the Meth as I'm going in a Rehab! Will it work?? Well I think it will as this time I've had enough, I throw in the towel, I can't live like this any longer, I need help. Any clean ones out there that won the war, get in touch. I'm sick of fighting this battle ALONE!!!

    Hey catcope, I feel the same as you, hate hate going for my methadone, everyday. Have to drink on site now as well. Am too old for this ****!! Since Xmas I've stayed off t he Xtras I was using, downers and cyclizine. The cyc really had me in a grip, I wanted that hit daily, not just once a week like prescribed. So i was back to buying in, wheeler dealer. Hate that too, fair weather friends!! Trying to change and Man it's HARD!! So used to popping pills when stressed or giving myself a treat!!!Anyway thanks, I think it's Rehab for me, I'm a lost cause!! lol You, don't try cold turkey, you need to detox, come off gradually. Don't rush! But take it from an old head, Don't let it go on and on, cos it will!! Do you want to be like this in 10 years?? Can u see yourself in 10years?? Don't do a me, and wake up realising many years have passed and its still the same old ****!! Good Luck!! Talk ANytime!! Cath

    I've been an addict for three years now. I got ob methadone a little over a year ago. Started at 30 then slowly went up to 110 bc I can't seem to stay away from dope. I hate having to go to the clinic everyday and live this kind of life. I've tried to quit cold turkey but the withdrawls kicked my ***. I always ended up back in that line for my medicine. You can only do it if youre ready. If youre not, don't even try. You'll just make yourself sick. Good luck.
