I'm A Housekeeper/nanny

Hi all-

I am a housekeeper/nanny. I can't say its my life's dream but after years of being a nanny for infants I needed a change. The pay is better as well. I was just trying to get a sense of what a true housekeeper does in their weekly routine and what things a housekeeper shouldn't be doing so I know what boundaries to set. This is the first time I'm doing housekeeping.

Please share if you've done housekeeping on the private, residential level with a family.

    I did do a bit of housekeeping a few years ago, well many years ago, for an older neighbor lady that lived down the road from where I lived at the time. Mostly I went in and cleaned the floors, made her bed, did her laundry and of course cleaned the kithen. I also would sometimes go over in the late evening, upon her request, and run her a nice warm bath so it would be ready when she came home.
