I Am A Housekeeper At The Worst Possible Place.
I'm a housekeeper in a personal care home for people with Alzheimer's disease. It is very sad to see the residents in this condition, but I do enjoy the resident. However, with their lack of memory they often forget where the bathroom is. They most commonly decide to either pull down their pants in the middle of the hallway, squat over a small trashcan in their room, and do their business in the closet. I even had a man come up next to me, pull down his pants, and urinate all over my housekeeping cart. In addition to these little surprises, I have to deal with blood, vomit, and spit. You definitely need to have a stomach for this job. It's good training for me though because I want to be a nurse and I need to learn how to deal with all of these things. Hopefully by the summer I'll be working there as an aide instead.
