I Am a Lesbian
Today, I decided to tell the remaining 3 of my closest friends about me 'playing for the other team'.
They were shocked. Oh well.. I suppose 'shocked' is an understatement.
They really did NOT see this coming. They had no clue and never suspected a thing.
And then a few seconds later? We were already joking about it, like nothing happened.
And I loved them so very much in that moment. Because it meant: nothing changed and everything is OK.
"You know, you should've told us sooner. We wasted all this time trying to hook you up with that guy!"
"OMG I can now help you check out girls!"
"..What do you mean I'm not your type?! I could totally be your type."
They wished that I had told them sooner, so they could've been there for me.
That I shouldn't have gone through this alone, but at the same time they understood I had to figure things out for myself first.
I love them so very much and I'd let you all borrow my friends for a day because they're crazy and oh so lovable.
