This Is Who I Am

I was married and with my husband for 5 1/2 years and have a 4 year old. After we got married I became friends again with a couple of girls from high school that are gay and after hanging out with them relized that this is where i belong. I recently seperated from my husband and am now in a relationship with a girl that i have known for 10 years and it is the best relationship i have ever been in.  I have not came out to my whole family yet but i belive they all know.  Im so happy now. I can not believe that it took 26 years to find myself.

The best things take time :)

As long as you are happy? GO FOR IT!

**** yes. Great story ... Courage to leave a life for a different one is ******* great. Besta luck!!!

I got lucky i guess, compared to all of you wonderful women, I came out at 16. I never had to hide my sexuality or pretend to like men for any large sum of years. I'm glad you found yourself though, it can take a person's entire life to discover one's true self. It was just your time, congratulations :)

I am glad I'm not the only one that didn't figure it out for a while. Its such a strange experience when it all actually clicks together in a conscious way and your like "seriously, how did I not see this before?" I hope I have the strength to follow through with the lifestyle change that you have... I think its courageous and amazing! My husband and I have been together 10 years (married 5) and we have a 1 yr old... I'm really worried about negatively effecting my kids life... I worry his life would be better if I just shut up and stayed... how has your kid adjusted? How did you get past these fears?

I am so glad you have found happiness.
