Now I Know It's Good I'm Happy

i grew up in a weird place in a weird time w/ no openess about gayness or seeing gay people just had an idea of stereotypical butch masculine women as lesbians who would try to be a predator if i walk into a gay bar. anyway i had some internalized homophobia and although i kissed my first girl at 19 it took 6 more years to be out and proud. so no sweat. i live in a good liberal place now and when i came out my self expression was fuller and my confidence went up. i tried to stay in denial but my being a homo is such a part of me it just kept coming back: in my dreams, in the catching of eyes of a hot girl, whatever. . . .it was a slow process for me that sped up once i was really ready. there are all kinds of lesbians and lots of cute one's if you're gay and struggling with the beginning stages don't worry there is light at the end of the tunnel and it can be bright.
