I Am a Loner
It does hurt.
I'm smart. I have a physical disability and both of my parents have English as their second language. I was taught to read by my aunt, who was 14 when I was born. Being the baby sister, she was more indulged than my mother. Up until my Aunt was in her thirties and earning good money as a bio chemist, we were close. Now it's like she never knew me. My parents moved interstate eleven years ago and I was engaged at the time, so I didn't follow.
I am an only surviving child. I am proud of my creativity and sensual flair. I just don't care for social situations and am a fringe dweller. My best memories of fun were as a baby-goth in the late 90s when all the clubs were down tunnels and not upstairs. A wheelchair limits my mingling quota in Australia.
I have my cat, a drummer friend to text, my Internet and my spoken word performances (when I am not ill). A hug would be nice at night...
