Under the Radar...

As a software developer, where creativity and structure is part of the job, I just slap code together enough to make it work, whatever the least path to getting the job done. I have three co-workers that run circles around me, and I just do the same crap, cut paste, move on. I don't have any motivation to excel anymore, just burnt out I guess

When I first started the job with three others I had the chance to be the lead, and I basically just gave it to the next guy without even so much as a word. God I suck! While most people progress at their career, I have successfully managed to progress at staying exactly where I am, under the radar, doing just enough to get by.

Nobody can tell you what to do. Inside you already have the answer.

That is just it, I don't have the fire for my work anymore, not like I use to have. I don't have the energy to move on, I am just coasting...

A software developer?
I think you are quite talented! :-)
There will always be someone better, and someone not as good. If you do not like your job, move on - if you do, then do your best! Do what you love and you will never have to work a day in your life! Decide what is best for you, and go for it!
