Ive also done the same thing in the past, and chucked out a couple pair of high heels and later regretted it, think that some women do get jealous if can walk in them better than them, maybe some women if they cant wear them having a feeler tha tcan makes them feel more a man than you.

Recently did a walk in high heels for cancer and the women were complaining more than the men about there feet.

For we men once hookked on heels cant giv it up its an ediction lol.

I have done the same over the years. Shame to me.I lost great friends in those shoes.

They are all so unique and special friends to me.

I have two pairs of strappy shoes with 4 inch heals, they are lovely and I love to wear them but at 5'11 I wear a pair of flat ballarina shoes on my occasionl forays dressed around town

Yes, i know the feeling of "this is not right". Good to see you don't throw out any more.

In New Zealand it is almost impossible to buy high heels to suit a mans foot.

I would love to have hh shoes to wear out.

With the tiny bit of makeup I wear now and then.

Thanks to some people here on E.P. my shoes are no longer hidden. Well not from my wife and a couple of friends anyway. My wife isn't happy about it but she doesn't mind me wearing them when she's not looking. I think she's kinda jealous coz she can't walk in high heels as well as me.

I threw out the hidden shoes a few times, but then finally admitted to myself that it was part of who I am and starting putting them in the closet like my "men's" shoes. Now 25 years later, I don't own any "men's" shoes, some unisex clogs and birks, but everything else is "women's" shoes--heels, flats, sneakers, whatever (about 3 dozen pairs). They fit better, feel better and look nicer.
