I Am a Meat Eater
Some of my friends are vegetarian and I have no problem with this, but I myself eat meat and I could never imagine not eating it. Thankfully the majority of my vegetarian friends have no problem with my diet either, so things work out rather well.
Then there are vegans, which don't eat any animal products at all. I can't say I know any myself, but I don't have any problem with these people either. I do, however, wonder how they manage to stay healthy.
I know many vegetarians and vegans refuse to eat meat because they feel bad about eating something that was once alive, but for myself I just don't see any reason to feel guilty for this. I'm a carnivore just like many other animals are; I eat meat, because meat keeps me healthy. When I go too long without meat I literally become weak and feel hungry all the time, even if I pig out on fruits or vegetables. Pasta seems to do a rather good job of keeping me fed oddly enough, but pasta or not I just feel healthier when I have some meat in my diet and I view eating meat as something normal anyway.
