I Am A Midwife

I used to be a banker and an artist ( I know they don't fit, but they did). Then 7/7 happened and I re-evaluated working for a stockbroker. I wanted something more.

So I trained to be a midwife. It was unbelievably hard. Three years meeting some amazing people, and some crappy ones, and working the hardest I ever have in my life. And now I am qualified.

It is the greatest job in the world.

I would love to know, do you still love being a midwife? Do you work in a hospital or private practice?
I was a nurse and left it because I hated it but always thought about becoming a midwife one day and have been accepted into a course but wondering how it compares to nursing?

Hey I've been accepted to study midwifery recently and just wondering if it's really worth it??
