Intro :)

:) Hi. My name is Sarah, I'm 25 and my boyfriend, Travis, is in the USAF and is currently in tech school at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX. He just finished BMT at Lackland AFB and will be at his tech school for the next six months. :[ If I thought BMT was hard - nothing compares to this! Being able to talk to him is GREAT, but it makes the missing him all the worse because we can speculate about our plans and neither one of us is busy enough to keep from thinking about how much we miss the other!

It's definitely harder living separate lives but being able to talk to them all time because you're so aware of it! You feel so out of the loop even when they come home and talk to you at the end of the day. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that he's able to use his cell phone and that Skype is available for us to use, but I just miss him so horribly some days that it gets hard to carry on with my own life! /sigh >.<

I completely agree with you on the fact that basic sucked but is so hard living spereate lives!! My husband is currently at Goodfellow and will be there till Feb. We have 3 children and have never been apart for more than 3 nights prior to this. Definately the hardest thing we have ever been through.<br />
