On Break Or No When He Say He Need Time

my boyfriend in the military .I have not seen him for a year and couple months .He deployed and he comes home in 6 months .He broke up with me before but one min he say I want to be with you the next tell me he dont .I know he stressed really easy .We did get back togeather we broke up with our boyfriend and girlfriend becuase he wanted me back and email my mom saying he made a mistake and that he wish I would talk to him .But 2 days ago we eaither on break on broken up .I have no ideal what we are right now .He said this to me "Im going to need some time im pretty depressed if I come out of this as a better person idk but anything possible.I need to understand you and everything about you and why you think this would work when im so unsure about everything how do you know for sure that we are not wasting our time trying to find better how do you know im the one if you never seen the real meI was holding back alot I think you should put your time into someone better but you pick the guy who was ******* everything in site and who dident care about anyone .Is he saying he need time ?

    Do you and him have something special only the two of you know - like a saying or an item? Me and my boyfriend special thing is Caramel Kisses...he came up with it (to this day I dont know he wont tell me). Another one we have is saying I LOVE YOU in different languages. I believe to be a military girlfriend you have to be creative. If he don't have a pc still send a cute email (if he ever check it). Do ya'll talk regularly that you can ask for his address, sometimes guys need to be shown they are loved too. or another thing is do he have a birthday coming up or your anniversay or simple remind him of the good days...like ya'll first kiss or date.

    What do you mean show him this ? I I write him letter about my life and how much I love him .

      Be creative....sorry if i came off the wrong way!!! Some guys are stubborn and difficult...think of other ways not just letters

      I dont know if he has a pc there or I could send him something .He dont get on the computure much .I dont know what to send him or how .

    Well it seems like he is really confuse and don't know what he wants. by everything he said it seems like he is saying he do need time to get his life in order because he don't want to ruin yours and vs. I have been in the position where i wanted this guy back so badly...it didnt work out though. I think if YOU really want to be with him you need to show him this. Maybe the military is changing his life (for the better) showing him things and putting his life into perspective, so he might still have things to work through. Do you think you need time?
