Everyone tells me that we won't last. That it won't work. That he's probably already been with another girl. They ldr's just don't work. That we're too young. Blah blah blah. I guess a tiny part of me may agree. But I don't want to believe them. I want this and us to work. I just don't know what to do or think anymore /:

    Every time I tell someone that my boyfriend is in the air force, the first thing out of their mouths is "are you really going to stay with him through it?". It sucks. But I use it as motivation to prove all of them wrong. That it can work. They are just too ignorant to realize what they are doing not only for themselves but for our country and everyone in it. Including them. Our boyfriends are the reason we can lay our heads down at night and know we're safe. Prove these people wrong and show them you will beat the odds.

    hi! im an army girlfriend and im 18 and my boyfriends 19 so were pretty young too! but heres my advice to you...DON'T LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE. every girl with a boyfriend in the army has heard all this dissapointing statements from so many people...the best thing to do is ignore it because they most likely have never been in a long distance relationship and only know what theyve seen in movies. they could also be jealous of you and your boyfriends happiness together and will try to find a way to bring you down(people are like that :/). anyways be happy that you have him and dont stress too much about the distance because its hard sometimes but worth it when you see him!! remember not to listen to any of these people and have a strong positive attitude towards your relationship with your man. you have nothing to worry about because people all over the world including me have had working long distance relationships:)
