Hey guys,
My boyfriend left Tuesday of this week for his first Navy experience. Boot camp for 8 weeks, 6 weeks of Marine combat and finally the 14 weeks of job training. Six months without him and I'm on day 3 and ready to crack. I really needed to know I'm not the only one going through this and this group jumped out at me. So that's the story, any advice on this first seperation will be greatly appreciated! I also find myself writing to him everyday and I have yet to recieve my first letter, anything on that? Thanks(:

When my boyfriend left, I got a call from reception, but I could barely not stand talking to him 24/7. Every call I got, usually sunday nights, I wanted to last forever, I usually got 20 minute + calls, but the short ones broke me. It's hard, but you can do it. You need your support group, friends, and family. I will be here for you every step of the way as well, for the BOTH of you.
You can find me here: and you can find my website for my business and support site on Facebook here:

My boyfriend is in BCT also and has been gone for 6 weeks. I didn't get his first letter for 7 days after he left. It was really hard at first, and it's still very difficult, but you'll get stronger! It's definitely not easy, as every girl on here will tell you, but you can do this! Just remember to write him often and encourage him, I'm not sure how Navy bootcamp is, but I'm sure it's a pain in the butt like Army bootcamp. Just stay really busy, busy to the point where you don't even have time to think, otherwise you will get depressed. It happens to all of us so if you ever need to talk, I'm here, as are the other women on this site. You can do this, hang in there!! :D
