Not Quite Yet Official, But Well On The Way

So, I'm joining this group but my husband, Beau, is not quite yet a Marine. He tried to join in Dec/Jan, but was told he didn't qualify because of his education (he has a GED only). He was told that if he wanted to enlist, he need 15 college credits under his belt, so now, he is in the process of getting those. If he passes all of his classes when May rolls around, he will be ready to go.

He's already training- running, working out, dieting (his recruiter recommended a FiberOne diet... ), he's taken the ASVAB (he scored a 95! I'm so proud!), and we are already dreaming about our future.

We have been married for 2 years (he's 25, I'm 24) and have 1 son (15 months) and one little one on the way. I'm a stay-at-home mom but I'm currently looking for a part-time job to do until the baby is born. Beau's been working only 3 days a week at his job (he's a custom cabinet designer and builder) and we are starting to feel the crunch. I have a degree in Psych, but I'm actually looking for a receptionist job in a salon or something similar in order to prepare be a little bit for beauty school once we get settled after hubby's training.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the new life, but I'm also apprehensive about the possibility of him missing the baby's birth, turning into a single mother of 2, and just all of the other changes that will be hard.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
