My 7 year old just asked me what a brain sequence is....I can't figure out how to answer that, and the internet is being complicated about it.

Does anyone know a simple answer to that question that he would understand?

    Any chance he stumbled on (or was sent to) this site http://www.reconstructors.org/recon2/ It is an "educational" site run by Rice University and it is focused on drug abuse awareness. They do mention the term "brain sequence" in one of the panels.
