Mother Of 3 Kids

Hi, I'm a mother of three kids aged 7, 4 and 10 months. Kids are beautiful. However, life where I live is hard when one has more than one kid. School is the greatest worry. Kids are hard pressed at school especially when they reach stage 4. They seem to do a lot of repetitive work, which most of the time is learnt in a parrot fashion. Apart from that, kids have to go to other activities such as music, art, sports etc after school because schools don't cater for such subjects professionally. There's also the need to learn religion, since the islands are roman catholic believers. But there is also the subject of religion at school. The government doesn't offer much help to parents either. At the moment most families are receiving heavy bills on electricity and water, plus fuel. Jobs are not paid well and living expenses are high. I am not sorry for having three kids, but authorities here encourage families to have more than one kid but then offer no backing. Many new families are resorting to one kid only however much they are criticized. Life on this island is still tranquil enough to offer kids a safe haven excluding roads which are dangerous, but there are many drawbacks for couples who want a large family.

Hello Wife, Mother, Goddess!

Three beautiful children are your riches, entertainment and love. My family finds entertainmnet cooking together and finding science books from which we learn. We'll read something interesting to some other family memeber and ask "silly" questions and "pretend" that we are an "expert". Then we go out into nature and try to "discover" what we just learned about. We look for different kinds of rocks, flowers, birds, insects, animals, sea creatures ( when we take a boat or go for a swim at the ocean). A lot of the time we visit museums, wild animal parks, the zoo, arboretums, flower shows, local animal farms, plant nurseries, and friends who have interesting things to see. Last week a bunch of grandkids went with us to the Science Museum and we spent most of the time seeing the rocks and dinosaur bones. They loved it. Afterward we stopped at the store, each kid had 5 dollars to spend on what they wanted. It wasn't much but they thought it was wonderful.
When the kids are visiting their cousins with us, it makes for high energy fun, same thing for when they are visiting with some of their friends.
What do you do for "free" or for "less expense" entertainment?
You are a refreshing personality here at EP, I hope to see more of your thoughts.
