I am a mother of a now 2 1/2 yr old daughter. At some point I hope to have another child. Not sure when exactly. I absolutely love being a mom. I've always had a tendency to take care of those around me so mothering came very naturally. It's so nice to be loved unconditionally by your child. Knowing that you will always be there for them no matter what. Loving every laugh, smile, word, and all the fun you can have with them. It's a little daunting at times because it's so much responsibility and I am a young mother who got pregnant unexpectedly, but am so happy and wouldn't change anything! I want to give my daughter and any other children I may have everything I never had the opportunity to have. Not in the pushing them to live my dreams kind of way, but to have options and choices. I was raised being very poor and never got to do the things I wanted simply because we just couldn't afford it. I hope we can get to a point to be saving enough money so I can pay for my daughter's wedding and help her with college. I want her to have the option to go into gymnastics or play soccer or anything her heart desires. To go out shopping, although I admit I do love thrift stores now. But I'll always cherish the little things like reading bedtimes stories or singing goodnight songs. We go on nature walks, watch movies, play games, and she tries to help me cook. It's always the things you never think about that make the most impact. I love children and I am so blessed to have a happy healthy child. My only hope is she grows up knowing how loved she is and never forgets that her family will always be here for her no matter what. I'd give my life and then some just to keep her safe and hunt down anyone who ever hurt her, god forbid. I am a mother, and that is my life for now.
