Music Runs Through My Veins...

If you ask anyone who knows me personally, they will tell you that one word that describes me is music. I come from a musical family. My dad is a high school choir director and plays trombone. My mom was involved in choir in college. My brother, sister and I are all in band and choir. Music truly is in my blood. I play oboe, clarinet, saxophone, flute, bassoon, piano, and I sing alto in choir. I'm so passionate about it, that's why I'm pursuing it as a career. But so many people have asked me if taking all music classes in college (i.e. music theory) and analyzing music takes away from the passion and magic of it. This worries me. It's been such a big part of my life I'm not sure where I would turn if I began to lose interest in it. I don't know, just something that runs through my head.....

if music was meant to be your carreer, it will all work out just fine. not saying that it wont be hard sometimes, cuz it will. But it sounds like you are on a good track. :) keep it up
