I Am A Naturally Happy Person
One person's garbage is another person's opportunity. Everywhere we look, we can see potential and beauty if we choose to. Some see the January thaw, the dirty snow, and the mud. We smell the air, listen to the water trickle into a storm sewer, and splash through the puddles. There is a little kid in us who refuses to let the magic die.
We wave at strangers who drive through our neighborhood and see the humor in ordinary life. We don't want what we don't have. We love what we do have. we look forward to holidays because of joy and festivity. Long lines? We think of it as an opportunity to go people-watching.
When life throws us a curveball, we don't dwell on it. we learn from it. It is in the past and that is history. It is the present that counts.
