I live in Los Angeles, and my boyfriend is in Whidbey Island NAS, Washington. We've been together for 3 years.. He has been away for 6 months, but for some reason, our love seems to grow more and more every day.

I love him so very much. Yes, distance hurts, but I know if we're able to get through this, we will be able to get through anything.

I miss him more than anything, but what can I do? Patience is a freakin virtue and all I can do is wait

I can't wait till the day I can call myself a Navy wife..

Wow thats amazing..I thought I was in a long distance relationship..I only live two hours away from whidbey ( where my sailor is stationed) Anyways I really hope you guys make it. :) I wish you the best of luck!

  REALLY? my boyfrind is in Whidbey as well as an AM! where do you live? I was kinda thinking of moving to seattle just to move and be nearer to my bf ..

Well hello there fellow Californian! You are absolutely right - patience is a virtue! He is very lucky to have you being patient and recognizing that your love for him, and each other, is growing every day!!! My boyfriend of 2 years and I have never really discussed marriage...i mean, we kind of have but not like planning anything. But I know with all my heart that I want to marry him and that the only way we can be together is if I recognize the same things you do; 1. If we can get through this, we can get through anything 2. Patience patience patience! 3. No matter the distance, my love for him will grow with each day.

I hope you are doing okay and getting through each day without serious bumps along the way! This proves how strong of a person you are - keep it up :)

  Yes, patience. *sigh* hahaha, it gets superrr bad sometimes. I just scream and yell at him crying why aren't you here for me! I don't care I just need you here, but 2 minutes later I apologize and we're happy again. It's just soooo frustrating, you know? How do you deal with the distance? :/ I know it will be worth it at the end, but it's just too hard at times...
