 I'm really scared my bf just left for boot camp today he texted me and said, he loved me and that he will see me in 5 months :'( It hasn't really hit me yet that he's gone and going to be gone for awhile. I haven;t really been in a long relationship before and neither a long distance one so this is all new to me. We have been dating for a month and 13 days. which is not really a long time. but enough time for me to get attached and not want to leave him anytime soon. I'm just going to take it step by step, day by day, and hope and pray for the best. This is all very new for me so if anybody has any comments or advice or things they would like to say feel free to comment. thanks for reading :)

    That's totally fine!! My boyfriend and I were just talking before he left. We hung out a few times.. And I wasn't sure if we were dating. He liked me, and I was attracted to him. On the day he left, I asked if we were officially a couple. And he said yes, I said yes.. I was just like you, it didn't hit me at all. Not until a few days later when I missed texting him, facebooking him, talking to him and seeing him. I think those 5 months of just letters, waiting for him, missing him really made me realize I love this guy. Because he was all I thought about. The waiting and the missing really helped me realize that maybe he's the one. And our love grew in those letters.



    I was extremely scared of what may happen between us too. But now, we've been together for almost 6 months. It's actually very exciting because it's like every time he comes back, you will get those butterflies, knee shakes, and it's like going on your first date again. 8) I know and hope that your love for one another will grow strong!! Keep praying.. When he writes you a letter, your letters are his motivation. He loves receiving letters.. and you're all he ever thinks about. The first he wants to see when he gets back.

      Thank you so much for the encouragement. I've been trying to stay busy lately to keep my mind off of it. I don't know how long that will last lol But hopefully like you said all the time that were going to spend apart helps me realize that I really really love him and that he's the one for me, because I don't want to stop now. I'm happy for you esp. the fact that you've been with him for 6 months and everything is going well. that really makes me feel good and see that I'm not alone. I wish you all the best and thanks once again :)
