The First Call!!

So yesterday around 3 I updated my phone because it said I needed too. It hasnt been two weeks so i didnt think he would call. When I turned it back on I had a voice mail that was from him! I lost it! It was the first call and I missed it! About 10 mins. later he called again and I answered it!! I was so excited and we got to talk for about 7 mins.!! I talked to his mom and she said she talked to him and cried the entire time and didnt get any information but thankfully I did!! He should start getting our letters today! Does anyone know how often they get to have the letters sent to them? Do they only get to write on Sunday mornings? When should the next call be? :)

    Thank you both so much!!! What exactly is the "I`m a sailor" call?? I haven`t heard about it! (:

    My boyfriend could write me whenever the time presented itself (sometimes before bed), but they only really sent them on Sundays (I got one or so that was send on different days). They can receive letters Monday through Friday. I didn't get a call from my boyfriend until midway point and then the "I'm a Sailor" call at the end after battle stations, but it all depends on the division, if they are getting in trouble, and who their RDCs are. Hope this helped! :)

    My boyfriend called me yesterday too! He woke me up at 7am when he called, and the first few minutes he kept apologizing for waking me up, haha. From what I understand, they only get to write on Sundays but they have a mail call everyday. My boyfriend told me he thinks he will be able to write today and send them today as well. :)
