Same here! You should totally look into going to a navy ball. They usually have a couple in the spring and it's sorta like prom :)

My boyfriend will be missing mine as well. I went to his prom last year, so I'm not too upset (for lack of a better word) about that. But, I wish that he could watch me graduate. I was at his hs graduation. I wish he could be home for mine. I know we will have many other milestones and stuff, but its my graduation. I wish he could come. Although at the same time I feel bad wishing this because I had to miss his boot camp graduation, that however is a whole nother story. His parents wouldn't let me go.

Take lots of pictures an make a scrap book for him! I am sure he feels equally as bad knowing he is missing it, maybe even worse! The worst thing is to make him feel bad for missing your special day!
Unfortunately for us, it's going to happen! And it won't be the last time, if you stay together he is going to miss 100 other important days too... Just be strong for him and don't let him see you down!

I know how you feel! My boyfriend will also be missing my senior prom and graduation but the job they are doing is well worth it! Just stay strong it will be okay!

Sorry hun! But honestly, I am only a sophomore in college and I barely remember by graduation and prom! It seems SO BIG your senior year and you should have a great time with your friends, but it will be something that doesn't seem so big later. So try to talk your friends into going just as a group without the date thing (one of my cousins did this when her boyfriend couldn't go and said it was the best prom she had EVER been to). My boyfriend wasn't in yet when I was a senior, but he missed the majority of my graduation because of work. Please try to push yourself to have a good time! Tell your friends your worries and they will probably compensate for his not being there! Hopefully things go well for you! <3
