Suggestions For Deployment??

So, my man just graduated this weekend and is starting A school soon. He is going to be in fire control and be  at school for 7 and 1/2 months. We talked about our relationship a lot this weekend and tried to figure out ways to make it easier for us to be together. Hes completely worth it and I want to be with him no matter what, but any suggestions of ways to make school and especially deployment easier? We have discussed moving in together once he gets stationed because he should be an E5 by the end of A school. That's not going to make it easier when he gets deployed. We plan on getting web cams for when he is at school. He also plans on getting me plane tickets for when he gets leave from the ship to where ever he will be so that we will not have to go too long without each other. I think that's a really good idea, but any ideas of how to stay close and connected during the deployments would be awesome.

It's hard! Trust me! My boyfriend deployed on Valentine's Day of all times...He has email so we're able to email back and forth throughout the day (It sometimes goes down, luckily that hasn't happened yet this time)...He's also able to send me letters from time to time and I can do the same. Right now I'm almost finished with his first box I'm sending. I've sent a card every week...and I plan on sending at least one box every month. He hasn't received any of the cards I send and the first one I sent was sent 2 weeks mail is VERY slow...but he'll get it eventually, I hope. Unfortunately he can't have a webcam on the ship and families are only allowed to visit at one port that they stop in. I plan on going to wherever he is when that is possible, but he said that isn't until deployment is almost over. If your relationship is strong, it will work out and you'll be able to find ways to communicate, but these are the ways we've been making it work. :-)
