I Am a New Army Wife

HI. I understand how you feel my husband deployed to IRAQ da day after we were married. All I have known is my husband I fear for his safety and I hate him being gone, but I also support him and reassure him that im fine. The truth is I AM VERY DEPRESSED AND LONELY!! I miss my husband dearly and cnt wait till he returns and I will keep you in my prayers

My fiance is leaving monday for training. I had a baby on the 1st of the year and he decided less then a month ago he was going to join. i didnt have a say and now i will be alone to raise our son. I am only 20 years old and very very scared!!! Trust me I can relate. My whole family is moving to tx in 2 months and I will be truely alone for at least 5 months before he comes home. My son will be so different he will miss so much!

Seeing as how your post was a year ago, I'm guessing your husband is home now, or close to it. I hope that the deployment went well. Know that you are a strong woman. My husband was in Korea before we were married, he really enjoyed it there. I'm here if you want to talk. I'm a new Army Wife too.

I found this site hoping that, just like you, I would find other army wives who understood what I was going through. My husband is in Iraq and this is our first deployment and it is horrible. He is my best friend and without him I have no life (I know it's sad)! Anyways, my best hopes for finding this site are to find friends to talk to when I'm bored or lonely. I hope to talk to you and others with the same kind of expectations of this site. good luck and keep your head up!

thanks for supporting our troops, not many realize how hard it is to be an Army wife. Know that he misses you just as much as you miss him ( I speak from experience). Hope you get to visit with him soon.....
