EP: Good morning and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. If you could meet any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
elizabethlshorley: Pleasure to be here. I was just thinking about that the other day. I would want to meet Richard Nixon. There's got to be a connection between his personality or life experiences and the trouble he created while in the White House. So many men (and now women) want to be president... is it a foregone conclusion that it ends up being the ones with issues who end up at the White House?
EP: That was so interesting, I almost lost my place in the question deck. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?
elizabethlshorley: Who wrote these questions. The best advice I ever received was from my grandmother. It did not come to me in the form of words - it was in the way she lived her life as the single mother of twin boys... not too common in the 40s and 50s. She worked hard, loved hard and lived within her means.
EP: Moving right along. If you had the chance where you could do anything you wanted, with money being no ob
elizabethlshorley: I like how you think. For me it's not about money - for me it's about weighing what I want to do in life against what I have to do in life at the moment: being the best mommy possible for four children under 8. I want to do my best to give them everything they need to walk tall in this world and this takes time, commitment, and setting aside the selfish dreams I have. They come first.
EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with elizabethlshorley . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
