We caught up with new member pioneer8888 and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!
EP: Good morning and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. When you are 100 and looking back at your life, what do you want to be able to say?
pioneer8888: Pleasure to be here. I like how you think. That I lived my life with such tenacity that others around me always wondered what compelled me forward... to which I will say it is my Lord Jesus Christ that propels me forward daily... He sets me on a high place to shine for all to see. I know who I am. I am God's daughter and a coheir with Christ. I live each day knowing that I am greatly loved and I don't waste my time in trivial things. I move forward with strength. I walk in righteousness. I wake up everyday ready!!!! I love living; I love blessing. Thank You Lord for your grace that has allowed me to see your great works, thank you for everything you've given me. I do my best to please you.
EP: Next question. What activity have you always wanted to try, but haven't yet? Why?
pioneer8888: I was just thinking about that the other day. I want to play an instrument!!!!! I just... I don't know anyone personally that is a musician! I don't like to make people feel used and I don't have the money to pay anyone... I play my little sister's drum set every now and then, and used to play the piano in my dorm hall :) I would teach myself with videos on youtube
EP: Really interesting. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?
pioneer8888: I sure hope people are enjoying this interview. The best advice I have ever received came to me in a dream: It was of a storm over an ocean on one side, and like a split screen there was a great wave of clear blue water and it was very sunny out, I imagined it was Hawaii... but, through the dream I believe the holy spirit spoke to me and said, "Discipline is your deliverer." He was right, like always, but I really believed him. I've always believed that since I was a little girl. It's not difficult to be disciplined, it's such a small price to pay for the reward that you receive.
