Meet Ladefense!

We caught up with new member LaDefense and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!

EP: Good morning and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?

LaDefense: Pleasure to be here. I like how you think. The one thing I want to change now about my life is to be stress free. The one thing that I would've liked to change (given the choice and means to go back in time) is my attitude.

Until a few years ago, I used to be quite arrogant. I used to despise anything that was 'regular' or 'normal' or doing things 'the usual way'. None of those words describe me now, and that by no means is making me feel better.

If only I had tried to just fit in with society and realized that it's OK to be normal, I would've had an infinitely better life, one with many friends.

EP: You are so charismatic. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?

LaDefense: Great question. By far, the best thing I've heard in the past and stuck to it through all these years is simple - "No regrets". I think I first heard that in a song, can't remember which one exactly.

A person's life will not be assessed by anyone after his / her death. So there's absolutely no point in worrying about something that you did in the past, or something that you might do in the future.

It is impossible to not make any mistakes in life. What's important is to have courage to face the consequences of those mistakes. Therefore, don't regret anything. Make mistakes. Be prepared to face the consequences. Forget whatever happened and move on.

EP: A well thought out response. What activity have you always wanted to try, but haven't yet? Why?

LaDefense: I was just thinking about that the other day. If there was one activity that I had wanted to try the longest, it's extreme sports. Sky diving or Bungee jumping or Hang gliding. I know it isn't such a big thing for most people, but for me, well it wouldn't have been possible in the past. Now however, the situation has changed. That awesome day seems closer than ever. But I'm gonna need to get money for that. And for that, well I need to be able to find a job soon.

EP: Well put! I couldn't have said it better myself. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with LaDefense . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
